Sharing A Love of Film and Pop Culture Studies
As human beings, we are always consuming popular culture. Streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu have taken over our televisions with entertaining original series. As an Outschool teacher and avid binge-watcher, I create courses using films and TV series. Mostly, I focus on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. My goal is to foster better writing and critical thinking skills for my students by creating enjoyable classes. I like to stay caught up with everything happening with the MCU and pop culture in general (since I’m a huge nerd). Many of my students get excited upon the release of new content, so I’ll allow some time to discuss before continuing the lesson. I love what I do, and I look forward to teaching these classes because I get to analyze and discuss some of my favorite shows!
